Staying Sane at Home -online shopping-

-2-

Hi everyone! What’s another way I’m staying sane and safe at home? I’ve been doing most of my shopping at home. I hear people say at least they are saving money staying at home. -Yikes- I don’t think I can say that about me LOL! It’s so wonderful that we do live in a world where we can buy some of the essentials we need without leaving the house. Not only is it safer to buy things online right now but you can buy stuff to help keep you sane and important things you are running out of. If you can afford it try picking up something you can enjoy. Maybe it’s some coffee? Maybe it’s a coloring book. Maybe it’s something to entertain your family member to give you a moment of peace 😉

Before I give everyone the great idea it is to shop online I must warn everyone to be safe. Know where you are shopping from and who you are giving your information too. Those ads on Facebook? There is no guarantee those are legit. Trust me I’ve made my mistake on that on 2 different occasions. Some safer places I’d recommend would be  Amazon, Walmart, or other well known places. I personally buy everything through Paypal so no one sees my information. They are a middleman who will also help fight for you if you have problems. By all means if you don’t feel safe doing it, don’t. You can also ask someone else to do it for you. My mom and grandma both have me order them things for them online all the time even before the quarantine time.

Bonus, not only are you being safe, but who doesn’t love getting packages!

Did you know that you can support The HUB while shopping on Amazon? All you have to do is choose us as your charity and The HUB will get a small portion of every purchase. Simple right? Here’s a tutorial on how to do that. Afterwards if you shop on your phone you shop like normal. If you use your computer you would just type https://smile.amazon.com/ you would just add the smile. before amazon =). We hope you think of us the next time you shop! Thank you.

I’ve bought plenty of essentials lately, but my most recent entertainment purchase? Washable hair dye for my son. Comes out in one wash. His first color choice? Green lol.
